In a comprehensive review of the irDAC seasoned Hi-Fi Choice reviewer Ed Selley clearly feel for the features, convenience and sound of the irDAC.
On the irDACs connectivity he notes 'in terms of inputs it is now one of the best specced out there'. He also notes that the irDAC takes much of it's technology from Arcam's high-end D33.
But it's in the irDAC's sound where Ed finds most enjoyment, he comments 'Scuibba's Take Five is fantastically immediate with exceptional detail retrieval' and 'Bass is clean, detailed and has the same tonal realism as the upper registers'.
