Things are pretty busy here in Cambridge. We're looking forward to the annual Hi-Fi feast that is The Bristol Sound & Vision Show. This is a chance for all our Arcam owners to hear the new A19 amp and finally decide to upgrade from the A60 they spent their student grant on in 1977. Talking of upgrades we will be showing three new DACs. The arrival of the new irDAC with remote control and five inputs, the airDAC featuring AirPlay and the Bluetooth rBlink DAC will confirm Arcam's claim to be the DAC masters of the universe.
We have decided to showcase a Real-world computer music solution for our Bristol demo. The best computer-based music systems, come from computers like a Mac Mini and NOT from expensive, slow and inflexible specialist streamers. These offer poor value for money and can't deliver the streaming services that real people use. You won't believe how good streaming music can sound until you hear the What Hi-Fi 5star FMJ A19 integrated amplifier, being fed from a computer via an Arcam DAC.
Hi-Fi from Bluetooth: At last some music via Bluetooth that can make you smile. It's been a long time coming but anybody can stream from a smart phone or tablet to any hi-fi system with our world-beating rBlink Bluetooth DAC, transforming Bluetooth sound!
Apart from hearing some of the best sound at the show visitors also have a chance to win an Arcam rSeries component every day. Winner's choice of rPAC, drDock, rLink or rBlink. Free competition entry on the stand. See you there!
The Bristol Sound & Vision show runs from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th February and is located at the Bristol Marriot City Centre Hotel.
